The BMRT Ambulance District was formed in 1975 out of an initiative from the Hardin County Commissioners to ensure Emergency Medical Services to the Residents of Hardin County. The Village of Belle Center, and Richland Township, in Logan County, were soon incorporated.
BMRT began providing Volunteer EMS Serices in 1977. Then in 2022, we began to staff the station 24/7/365.

At its creation, the District was comprised of the Village of Belle Center, and Richland Township in Logan County, as well as parts of McDonald and Taylor Creek Townships in Hardin County.
In 2026, the remaining portion of Taylor Creek was added to the District, and BMRT Entered into a 3 year contract with the Village of Ridgeway for EMS Services.

The BMRT Ambulance District strives to provide Emergency Medical Services to our residents in a timely manner. And to always act within the
highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
