Duties of Village Mayor are: Chief Executive, Supervision of Village Officers, presiding officer of Council meetings however has no vote except in the case of a tie.

Council is composed of six members elected for overlapping four year terms. Council acts through legislation such as Ordinances and Resolutions. Council is paid $60 a month.

The Chief Fiscal Officer of the Village has duties such as clerk- treasurer of Village. The Fiscal Officer is appointed by the Mayor. This is a part time position approximately 20 hrs. a week at $15.45 per hour.
